To be fair I live in Communist China which is rich and one of my best friends is a girl from near Hanoi I’ll just write a boring story that really happened. I might think of a silly one.
Where I live is a big bag of shite, it’s outside a huge provincial city, which is also boring. But I never go out, so I went and walked to the metro and went downtown. The map sent me to a pub that wasn’t there so I walked along and went and found a random pub, it was one of those ones with taps on the wall and all kinds of weird beer.
They had Castles in the Sky on telly so I got drunk in there, then they had this Chinese film on that looked cool
What actually has affected me recently is the excellent podcast ‘Blowback’. They are covering the Cambodian Genocide, it is the most insane thing ever, like 70s China and USA
