Ok nobody reads this and nobody does anything anyway. I’m going to write about current affairs.
So it’s gone out of my news feed a little bit which is disgusting in itself, but to be expected, but I, like most people got obsessed with Israel last year when they initiated a genocide and then when the newspapers just desperately played it off as revenge which every civilised country must do, and then at a point the few people with souls got ‘brave’ and actually said that no genocide is not ok, even for you.
And then it just disappeared, after 40 thousand deaths it just becomes third world, it’s like being relegated. They show up in the news once a week ‘oh, peace talks’
So yes, we all know this, no need to rant, let me turn my polluted and rotten brain to the subject.
So the kind of original thing that I wanted to say about it, and this isn’t original, I just haven’t seen it anywhere.
This is nothing to do with religion or ideology, Israel is not a religious or ideological project, I was about to go into the history, but I’m not confident in that, it may well have been ‘the land of farmers and socialists’ in the past. that’s irrelevant
This is just the corporate world. this is the corporate world writ large. It’s better to understand it in terms of Cyberpunk than 20th century history, this is not a bunch of idealistic if misguided people fighting for the survival of an ancient people, on either side, this is a failing corporation, this is Terminator 2, the video game.
It’s very easy to see Israel as a uniquely crazy place, as if this is not the result of things that happened in recent history, very recent history. What it is now is a place that makes loads of weapons and apparently computer chips, because they have loads of money.
Just to revert to type and go on a tangent, they tell us that Taiwan and Israel are so valuable because they make computer chips. Is there something special about computer chips that they can only be made in places that the US wants to invade? Computers are all magic to me, but what is this magic that exists within a computer chip?
What about computer fish?
But Israel is not unique, it’s part of this huge corporate overboss. You can see all of the lines being drawn now, someone was saying this really great point, like they were talking about who to boycott to boycott Israel, and it’s all of these things that we all get all over the world that are staples of American global culture, like Coca Cola, MacDonald, Pizza Hut, and a lot of the richer stuff is pulling out of Israel.
It ties back in to what young me was angry about when I was 18 and also one of my go to hack points that nobody ever appreciates but I like
So I’m English and I’ve always felt colonised by Americans, like I love American stuff as well, I know that it’s because my media is mostly American controlled, but more than half of the stuff that I am into is American, that just is what it is, there’s a long discussion to be had about that, but it’s the arrogance and naffness
In Britain in the 80s and 90s we grew up under this terrible arrogance of people just thinking that being British was an achievement, and the US is like that, and Israel, and that is why they are losing. Like they just think that people will put up with any old shit, and this then turns into a kind of life lesson thing.
And then you get these cretins having those riots about the fact that there are loads of Muslims live in England, calling it an invasion, wearing American sportswear and using American media to repeat stuff from American media, but it’s not America, it’s Southport you idiots.
And I’m not going to go into it because it’s been repeated, but the reason that a lot of Muslims came is because the ruling class stole their money and trashed their countries, and then ‘we owe them’. Most of them aren’t even foreign, it’s all so stupid.
Like we are all horrible people, probably interesting as well, but definitely horrible. This is no secret. But then when these things fail, it’s always so preventable. Like when you hate someone, it’s not usually over on thing, unless you have an interesting life, it’s usually something stupid, like it was building for month, and then she made a joke that I’d told her as if she’d made it up or tried to insult me in a funny way but I was feeling terrible about that weakness and I realised that she couldn’t relate to me anymore and I had to leave her.
