This is a fun little ‘utility post’ to stay on my quota lol. I have a nice little essay I’m writing but I want to do it properly, so I’ll just put this nice little link here for now.
Radio Garden is this website and app where you can tune into music radio stations around the world. You get this map of the globe, you just spin it and choose a random country and they will find a station wherever you end up, it’s all just music, which is weird because actual radio always seems to be ads every 2 or 3 songs.
What is cool is that it’s obviously real because they will play whatever is in the charts, some good and some crap, but also like anywhere in the world playing upbeat stuff, they will always just randomly play 90s or 00s American crap. I was listening to this Turkish station this morning which is weird Turkish pop because it has that lush Turkish beat, but then they randomly put on ‘I’m Walkin’ Away’. They ain’t fakin’

Anyway, Radio Garden. Fun way to spend a bit of time just flying around the world listening to different types of pop music, but also a good way to avoid having to choose music or listening to some boring YouTube rants or old music. Great stuff.
