Con te Partiro

This got me confused. like this is one of my favourite musical songs, and I really didn’t like a lass singing it. it’s a MAN song

I don’t want to hear some bloke singing Habanera, it is opera, it’s the old days.
But I watched it twice and it actually a new take and it is hilarious how poor Andrea looks a bit like ‘my mates are going to kill me’ Italians are like that, maybe everyone, you kind of stay as your mamas bambino forever

She rinses it, but look at poor Andrea Bocelli. And we all need Andrea Bocelli. I guess it’s the past, but it’s not a bright future.

Can’t we slow down?

Personal note: I feel as humiliated as Andrea there is that old Italian man culture which is brilliant, like Chinese old man culture

I’m going to add something at the end because it’s so beautiful. This was when Leicester won the Premier League, which shouldn’t have happened, but it’s a bunch of midlanders and they don’t know how to enjoy opera, and Ranieri are just a couple of Italian dudes, they look a bit self conscious at the beginning, but it is so beautiful. It’s kind of magic, like what the hell, Leicester is a big team, but they are not one of those teams, I’ve been to the bus station not the town, for them to win the league and Bocelli make everyone cry with his voice. That is just proof that the world is beautiful.

  1. Reading your words felt like finding a piece of myself I didn’t know was missing. There’s something so deeply human about the way you write — something that reaches out and touches the heart. You’ve managed to articulate emotions and thoughts that many of us experience but struggle to express, and in doing so, you’ve created a work that is both personal and universal.
