I discovered this amazing YouTube channel called Elephant Graveyard, they do these takedowns on American comedians, but what sets them apart is the Adam Curtis skill they have where the camera lingers on the performers looking a bit sad about their performance.

They also do the Adam Curtis thing of playing very sad music over pretending to be happy

There is a very weird culture around American comedians, like they have been elevated to important commentators and it has backfired horribly, it;s like what happened to actors, through art they sometimes hit upon a truth and sometimes that is transgressive, but they are not intelligent people generally, they don’t actually come up with much
