I’ve been ill this week so don’t really have much to write about. I will share my TikTok which I haven’t put on here yet and do a little ramble
I have developed this really bad habit which a few of my friends have confessed they also do where I just listen to stupid YouTube videos of people commenting and joking about stuff instead of listening to music, or watching films, or reading books, or doing anything that is actually fun or interesting.
I’m not going to share any videos, this page is meant to be light and escapist, and there are already more entertaining ways, like YouTube to keep up with current affairs. I always kind of dreamed of my stuff being found way in the future by some relative or something and them going ‘heh’
Having said that I do currently have this fantasy which I could probably afford to do to be honest of paying some Indian or Russian or someone who works on computers for cheap and understands this stuff to promote all of the stuff I make just to see if it got to the level where people saw it by accident to see if they liked it.
Quick little old man rant about this time, since this is just turning into a pile of thoughts. I genuinely do not understand these YouTubers, that’s one of those ‘Wow I am old’ things. Like some of the documentaries are great, maybe I should make some of them, but those people who just sit reading the news and playing computers games and talking to people every day, that is such a weird job, and such a weird thing to be a fan of. Maybe I could do that for a living, just sit and play SimCity with that ‘computer game face’ and not interact with people, I bet someone does that.
First time I realised I was old was when I started hating rap music. I grew up on it, loved the fun stuff like DeLaSoul and Tribe Called Quest, then all through the 90s and kept up with it kind of even as an adult, but then there was that trend where they were all stoned as hell and they didn’t rap they just kind of slurred catchphrases, and at that point I found myself going ‘This isn’t bloody music!’
I can actually spin this around linking to a great YouTube video that I saw the other day about hiphop. The ‘thesis is about KidnPlay. Weird thought for anyone my kind of age who also grew up loving rap, they were huge, but then just everyone kind of forgot them, and nobody can name a single KidnPlay song.

Also, if you read all of this, if anything it’s a good example of how to beat writers block, just write any old shite and something will come out. I was sitting going ‘I have nothing to write’ then I just wrote a load of shite and went on a little journey instead of watching a YouTube, which I am doing now as I put the pictures in.
